We are encouraging all of Jacksonville to join us at Metropolitan Park to celebrate the birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Jacksonville-area businesses and social/civic organizations will be on hand to display their products, services, and other offerings to the general public.
Among the stage guests at Metropolitan Park will be community leaders, youth artists, entertainers, and gospel singers. Also, recitations of speeches made by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., poetry readings and dance numbers highlight the birthday celebration honoring the famous civil rights leader.
